From my Farewell speech in 2007

I heard it takes blood and fierce fight.
For someone to come to onsite.

I was fortunate not to face any such situation.
Trip to Frederick came just like an invitation.

I came here with many dreams and happy mood.
Never thought it would turn out that good.

I could still remember the day of my flight.
Me and Karun all packed and tight.

Who would not enjoy such golden chances.
When TCS is paying for your travel expenses.

My first day in BP5 is still fresh in my mind.
All those moments I wish I could rewind.

My initial days were tough, tiring and busy.
Working in a client environment was not going to be easy.

I thank Sanjay, Avneesh, Rishi for those initial days.
They helped me out in all the possible ways.

My first TCS party in Germantown, those little cameos
On public demand - SHOLAY is back on youtube videos.

I'll take this opportunity to thank everybody personally here.
Those who were good to me may relax, others beware.

Who else to start with other than my Dear roommate.
He did wonderfully with carpets and the dirty plates.

Staying with him was a great experience as I recall.
Been a very good friend and a great human being above all.

The next guy in the list is the one who doesnot work in office at all.
Dont worry Amit Goyal you are not the one I am going to call.

The guy I am talking about is more than a brother.
Extremely helpful and wise its Gaurav -- none other.

Whenever I would run into any trouble or worry.
Gaurav is there to advise with his "2 thing" theory.

I would miss Amit as a wonderful neighbour.
When we havent cooked anything, he'll do us a favour.

Kapil Chawla is another character needs to be illustrated.
The sensex in Bombay Stock Exchange keeps him frustated.

Priyanka had been a host to so many lunches and dinner.
Doing so to all, she had been really a heart winner.

Tanuja would push us hard to study in all poosible way.
Today she turned 32, many happy returns of the day.

Shashwati had a long thank you speech yesterday.
And was hence able to extend her stay.

Simple and sobur as she is.
May God bless her with all her wishes.

No words to thank Mithun and Sheetal for all they have done.
For all the delicious food that you cooked, we all had fun.

Vineet joined us recently, had been a Achha Yaar.
Excuse his mannerisms and language because he is from Bihar.

Although its not many days since I have known him.
Social and polite --- this guy is a real gem.

I thank Nidhi, Meenaxi and Somi for homely touch.
I never missed my home here --- Thanks very much.

Amol and Chandra were the first friends I had.
We had times together both good and bad.

The Gym Guy - The Muscle Man thats what I call him.
Tarun - Tough from outside but soft from within.

His roommate Pankaj enchants with his magic charms.
Has earned a fan even from Pakistan.

Rajat is cool whatever be the situation.
Be it Going to a bar or be it Sharepoint Certification.

Zaheer is the responsible one --- someone rarely seen.
Thats the reason he is leading our Cricket team.

Prasanta Sahoo or Prasanta Sanu -- How should I name?
I'll live for you, I'll die for you -- If you could sing again.

Sahoo has taken Volleyball to new hieghts.
Smita curses us all for their domestic fights.

Rajesh and Archana were always nice and sweet.
Playing with lovely Arushi was a real treat.

I admired Avneesh for his discipline and cool.
I'll miss the mails with the Timesheet schedule.

Senthil and Dharani were always so hospitable.
Enjoyed the food at their place with Rasam on the table.

I welcome Kamal to our Frederick family -- Mubarak Ho!.
Youll enjoy ur stay to the fullest that I know.

At the end all I would say is Forget me not.
The last 3 words are: Thanks a lot.
